Sigma Tau Delta sponsors “Banned Books Reading” Oct. 13

Sigma Tau Delta will  sponsor a Banned Books Reading on October 13 at 8 p.m. at the Red Raven Espresso Parlor in Fargo. Please stop by and share excerpts of your favorite banned or frequently challenged book or simply enjoy the power of literature as we celebrate the importance of the First Amendment.

There will be a sign-up sheet in the English Department Office for those interested in reading. It is recommended, though not required, that people sign up ahead of time in an effort to prevent duplication of readings. There are hundreds of banned or challenged texts, and we would like to highlight as many as possible.
