Library celebrates National Library Week April 11-17

Livingston Lord Library will celebrate National Library week with a lecture event featuring Greg Breining, Wednesday, April 14 at 4:30 p.m. in Science Lab 118. Breining will talk about his book, A Hard-Water World: Ice Fishing and Why We Do It. Refreshments will be served with a book signing to follow. New classes offered at Wellness Center

End the school year with a bang and get in shape for summer with our new instructors and lineup of new classes offered at the Wellness Center! Some of the NEW classes include: Upper Body & Guts—a new variation on the popular Butts & Guts that concentrates on the upper body and core using various equipment; Body Bar Tone—an overall toning class that utilizes the body bar and step to sculpt the entire body; Hip Hop—dance along with other cardio aerobic dance classes; and back by popular demand, Power Yoga—a great mind and body experience that will challenge you regardless of fitness experience. Author Rachel Coyne at MSUM Tuesday

Rachel Coyne, author of the novel Whiskey Heart (New Rivers Press, 2009), will read from her work at 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 30 as a feature of MSUM’s Tom McGrath Visiting Writers Series. She’ll also give a talk on the writers’ craft at 4 p.m. that day. Both events will be held in Comstock Memorial Union 101.
