Gerontology Colloquium April 7
The 10th annual Gerontology Colloquium is Wednesday, April 7 from 4:30-6:10 p.m. in MacLean 164. This event coincides with Careers in Aging Week, an annual nationwide event intended to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in aging and aging research.
Featured speaker Gretchen Bartels was awarded a B.A. in Gerontology from MSUM in 2007. She is currently the Activities and Volunteer Event Director at Sunrise Senior Living in Minnetonka, Minn. Bartels will share her experiences working in the field of aging, job search tips for students, and the rewards and challenges of her career.
