Campus News named best college newscast by both SPJ and MBJA

The following is a list of Society for Professional Journalists, Northwest Broadcast News Association Eric Sevareid, and NATAS – Upper Midwest Regional Student Production award winners from MSUM.
MSUM advertising students in the capstone class, “Advertising Campaigns,” taught by Jody Mattern, took home first place at this weekend’s American Advertising Federation District 8 National Student Advertising Competition. The team accepted an advertising challenge for Pizza Hut in August with the goal of increasing online ordering at pizzahut.com by 75 percent. MSUM’s campaign slogan is, “Delivering Bold Ideas.”
Join MSUM’s AdClub and The American Advertising Federation of North Dakota for Student Portfolio Review Day. Each year AAF-ND sets aside a day where students can have their portfolios reviewed by area professionals in the advertising, graphic communication and journalism industries.
