MSU Moorhead is adding an online option for its undergraduate Elementary Inclusive Education degree. Previously, the program was only available on-campus. The new online delivery method opens the door for students who are employed full time. Students also have the flexibility to choose from 6, 9 or 12-plus credit hours and can complete their field experience in their own community. […]

Angela Harvala, an alumna of Minnesota State University Moorhead, won the Milken Educator Award and $25,000 to spend however she wishes. She received a B.S. in elementary education in 2006. The Milken Educator Awards was conceived by the Milken Family Foundation to attract, retain and motivate outstanding talent to the teaching profession.
