Global Citizenship and Cross-Cultural Teaching: Taiwan

This Spring course will introduce students to the basic elements of cross cultural teaching, global citizenship and teaching non-native English speakers. Join professors Sheila Marquardt and John Benson in Taiwan May 15-June 14 for an experience that will build your skills as a teacher. Please let us know if you have questions. You may also attend an information session to learn more about this study abroad opportunity 10/6 at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. in LO 204, 10/10 at 3:30 p.m. in LO 204 and 10/12 at 5:30 p.m. in LO 104.

The ANTH 390/ED 390 Health, Education, and Environment in Tanzania Today course, led by Dr. Bruce Roberts (Anthropology/Earth Science) and Dr. John Benson (School of Teaching and Learning), is a unique immersive, experiential educational opportunity that will focus on the challenges of delivering basic healthcare and education to the diverse population of a rapidly developing nation.
