NDSU’s next Science Café will examine how human behavioral traits impact mate selection and committing homicide. Brian D. Wisenden, chair of biosciences at Minnesota State University Moorhead, is scheduled to present “Sex and Violence: Understanding behavior of the human animal from an evolutionary perspective” Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in Stoker’s Basement of the Hotel Donaldson, 101 N. Broadway.

Brian Wisenden, Biosciences, had a paper accepted for publication in the peer-reviewed journal Behaviour. The title of the paper is”Genetic evidence for mixed broods and extra-pair fertilizations in a socially monogamous biparental cichlid fish”.
