Please let your students know that a panel of study abroad returnees will talk about their experiences on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 2 p.m. in CMU 101, as an event in celebration of International Education Week (the location has changed from the advertised room). This is an opportunity for students interested in studying abroad in the future to ask questions of their peers.
A variety of events are taking place during International Education Week: talks about the countries of Nigeria, Nepal, Haiti, Congo and others, as well as world religions; food from around the world; passport drive; various forms of dance; and much more. Regretfully, MSUM has withdrawn its membership of the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) because of low enrollment numbers and the increasing cost of membership. However, our office will continue to assist students in participating in the program through an arrangement with NDSU, to be implemented shortly.
