Jefferson Bus adds MSUM to route

Jefferson Bus Lines has added a drop-off/pick-up location on the MSUM campus. Effective February 23, Jefferson will provide daily transportation to and from Minneapolis, stopping at the southwest entrance to the Comstock Memorial Union. MSUM launches Indian Center

A new center at MSUM aims to improve recruitment and retention of American Indian students. MSUM sponsored a grand opening ceremony Wednesday for the American Indian Research and Resource Center in Holmquist Hall. In addition to providing a resource library and a hub for research projects, the center will be a gathering place for students. MSUM has about 100 Native American students, or about 1 percent of the student body, said Donna Brown, assistant vice president of student affairs for diversity and inclusion. MSUM art exhibit open through March 12

A Minnesota State University Moorhead student art exhibit featuring a variety of media will be on display through March 12 in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. A reception for the artists will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18 in the gallery. It’s free and open to the public. Click headline for gallery hours and to see who is exhibiting.
