Women’s and Gender Studies student speaks at Colloquium Series

Katie Kottenbrock, MSUM Women’s and Gender Studies major, speaks at the first Women’s and Gender Studies Colloquium Series event of the semester. Kottenbrock’s presentation is titled: “The Many Facets of Gender-based Violence: my work with the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless.” The event is set for Friday, Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the Women’s Center, Bridges 154. This event is free and open to the public. The Women’s and Gender Studies Colloquium Series highlights MSUM faculty and student research that focuses on feminist, women’s, and gender issues.  The colloquium also highlights community members and activists whose work is linked to women’s and gender issues and social change.
