Biosciences students’ research accepted for publication

Biosciences majors Emily Mammenga, Carissa Storseth and Noah Berglund have had their research accepted for publication in the international peer-reviewed journal Animal Behaviour. The title of their manuscript is “Odor-tracking by young convict cichlids and a mechanism for alloparental brood amalgamation.” The research was mentored by Brian Wisenden.  

Presidential forums venue changes

Forums for three MSUM presidential candidates will be held March 31, April 1, and April 2. MSUM Rainbow Scholarship

The GLBT Rainbow Endowed Scholarship was founded in 1999 by MSUM alumni, faculty and staff. The endowment recognizes students’ affirmation of GLBT identity and/or encourages service and leadership to the GLBT community. Award amounts are $500 to $1,000. Deadline is April 21, 2014.
