Friday, April 17, 2015, is considered Day of Silence, which is a student-led national event that brings attention to anti-LGBT name-calling, bullying, and harassment in schools.

On Feb. 21, 2015, Vijay C. Antharam was awarded a provisional United States patent Serial No. 62/118,848 Materials and Methods for Reducing Cholesterol. He was a semi-finalist at the OneStart OxBridge Biotech Start-up competition held on Feb. 20-21 in San Francisco, Cal. He presented his work to a panel of biotechnology representatives and venture capitalists.
