CMU project updates and summer hours
Construction is now underway for the CMU renovation and addition project! From May 18th through approximately August 16th, the only entrance available for access into the CMU will be the NW entrance located along 6th Avenue. Due to summer construction, all other entrances will not be accessible. All meeting rooms and public lounge areas will be offline throughout the summer. Departmental offices located in the CMU will be available and accessible through the NW entrance. The Kise entrance is available for access to MSUM Dining Services and the Kise Dining Hall. CMU Summer Hours
Effective Monday, May 18, the Comstock Memorial Union will be open from 7:30a-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and closed on weekends for the remainder of the summer.
The Student Union Administration Office has moved into its temporary location in room 216 on the second level and will be open from 8:30am-4:30 p.m. M-F.
First Year Programs and the Office of Student Activities remains in room 222 and will be open from 8:30am-4:30pm M-F.
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion and International Student Services are located in room 114 and will be open from 7:30am-4:00pm M-F.
Subs & Sweets, Kise Commons, the C-Store and Union City will be closed for the summer. Dragon Café will be open 8:00am-3:00pm M-F.
The Rec & Outing Center (ROC) is permanently closed and we are no longer able to rent recreation and/or outing equipment. The Lost and Found service will be temporarily operated out of the Student Union Administration Office in 216 until further notice.
The Activities Resource Center (ARC) is closed for the summer. Please stop by the Office of Student Activities in CMU 222 if in need of assistance.
Affinity Plus will be closed for the summer and its ATM will be offline. Please visit the Moorhead location at 403 S. 8th Street, Suite B for your Affinity Plus banking needs.
The U.S. Bank ATM will also be offline for the summer. Please visit the Moorhead location at 403 Center Ave for your U.S. Bank banking needs.
The CMU meeting rooms and lounge spaces are not available throughout the summer. Meeting rooms are planned to be available again beginning August 18th. If you are in need of meeting space this summer, please contact Scheduling Services schedule@mnstate.edu or #2400.
