The Music Man showing through Friday

The Straw Hat Players will be presenting The Music Man through Friday, July 30 in the Hansen Theatre at 7:30 p.m. The Music Man is a rated G musical about a traveling con-man salesman, Professor Harold Hill, who stops in River City, Iowa, to convince the town that they desperately need a boy’s marching band. Summer Night at MSUM July 27

Join Dragon Alumni and Friends for the annual Summer Night at MSUM: a Picnic and
Games followed by the Straw Hat Production of The Music Man. This all takes
place Tuesday, July 27, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Ticket prices, including picnic
and play are $25, $20 for seniors and students. Reservations are required; RSVP

The Tempest runs through July 16

The Shakespearean comedy The Tempest opens Tuesday, July 13 and continues through Friday, July 16 in the MSUM Roland Dille Center for the Arts Gaede Stage. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. A torrential storm, castaways on a remote island, plots and counter plots, romance, love, magic and a monster are the stuff of The Tempest.
