Paul Sando, Department of Anthropology and Earth Science, will be presenting at the “Beyond the Border” Conference (Jointly sponsored by the Canadian Consulate and the Midwest Assoc. of Canadian Studies) on Oct. 5-6 at The University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. His paper is titled: “A System Tested: Water Issues and International Relations along the Souris River.”
Work done in the Department of Physics and Astronomy was presented at the 2012 European Materials Research Society meeting in Strasbourg, France. Professor Ruth Lumb, School of Business, and Professor Yu Lixin, PhD, School of Management, at Xi’an University of Science & Technology have received a research grant from Shaanxi Provincial Government of China. There were over 7,000 applicants from top universities, research institutions and enterprises. The Provincial Government issued grants to the top 200 applicants.
