The Department of Psychology publishes the first issue of The Red River Psychology Journal. This online journal showcases our undergraduate student research and provides student editors with experience as peer reviewers. The journal is serialized with an ISSN number so the contents are electronically archived and searchable. And the journal will be used as a department newsletter and alumni outreach.
MSUM Psi Chi (the honor society for psychology) has received a $1000 Undergraduate Research Conference grant from Psi Chi International. Dr. Lisa Stewart presented two sessions at the ND Department of Public Instruction Fall Conference October 8-10, 2014 in Bismarck. Her sessions were titled “Using iPad Apps in Interventions” and “Strengthening Language and Literacy: Hands On Activities”. Over 900 teachers attended the conference from across the state.
