Duluth, Minn. – KUMD 103.3 FM’s Lisa Johnson ’83 (broadcast journalism) has received the 2016 Broadcaster of the Year Award from the Association of Minnesota Public Educational Radio Stations (Ampers). Johnson was honored for her accomplishments as KUMD’s Northland Morning host and producer, the job title she has held since 1991.
Lisa Nawrot (Psychology) recently attended the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) business meeting in Tampa, Fla. Nawrot was elected to serve as a Councilor in the Psychology Division.
