MSUM’s Mathematics Department would like to congratulate our exceptional actuarial students who passed actuarial exams this past summer. Leslie Miller, Billy Pederson, Daniel Schneck, Zach Snell, and Madalyn Winger all passed Exam 2/Financial Mathematics. Mason LaRock passed both Exam 1/Probability and Exam 2.
Peter Geib and Jim Swenson, Paseka School of Business, have published a paper in the journal Advances in Management. The title of the article is “The Shanghai Edge.”
Ten graduate students in School Psychology attended and volunteered at the North Dakota statewide MultiTiered Systems of Support (MTSS) conference. The 2017 MTSS conference theme was “Building Effective Systems for Student Success.” Over 300 educators from across the region attended the 3 day conference. Dr. Lisa Stewart, School Psychology faculty, also was on the conference planning committee.
Chidubem “Nuela” Enebechi participated in a SURF summer research program at Purdue University. Nuela is currently at senior majoring in computer science. While at Purdue, she worked with Dr. Pablo Zavattieri on a project of Modelling of Phase Transforming Cellular Materials (PXCM).
