The Psychology Department recognized Katherine Johanson, Psychology and Gerontology major, as the 2015 nominee and winner of the Paterson Award given to an outstanding Psychology senior by the Minnesota Psychological Association. Several Education majors volunteered at the Churches United for the Homeless Spring Celebration event held on Saturday, April 18. These students planned and taught an Art lesson, helped with the egg hunt, served refreshments, and interacted with the 30+ children and their families.
Twenty-one students represented MSUM at the 2015 Arrowhead Model United Nations Conference, hosted by the University of Wisconsin La Crosse April 9th through 12th, 2015. They were advised by Dr. Andrew Conteh and led by Model UN President Uchenna Onyeama. The team received several awards:
