Construction management students exceed the national average and CPC level I Exam

AIC Construction Certification Exam

 All Construction Management students sit for the CPC Level 1, Construction Fundamentals Exam when they are enrolled in the CM 496 Capstone Experience.  The Exam is developed and monitored by the American Institute of Constructors Certification Commission.   The exam has been given each semester since 2000.  The students have scored at the national average or higher 25/ 30 times that the exam has been given.  In spring of 2015, twelve students sat for the exam and exceeded the National average.  MUUM’s average was 73% and the national average was 67.9%.  The students exceeded the national average in eight out the ten categories on the exam. Eight out of twelve students passed the exam.  Their scores ranged from 210 to a high of 261 out of 300 possible points.   As a whole all scores were well above previous semester.
