Dr. Gates posted an article titled “Encouraging Teacher Candidates to Integrate Research into Instruction” in Literacy Daily. The article is displayed on the International Literacy Association’s website. The document displays a signature assignment that was created for teacher candidates and explains why it is necessary for new teachers to integrate research into current practice.
Drs. Layna Cole and Erin Gillett, School of Teaching and Learning, along with June Reineke, Director of the Winona State University Children’s Center, gave a presentation at the Minnesota Rural Education Association annual conference.
