Sigma Pi Sigma inducts three new members
The MSUM chapter of Sigma Pi Sigma, the Physics Honors Society, inducted three new members during a ceremony on April 5. The inductees were chosen based on academic excellence, research and service to the community. Physics major to conduct research at University of Maine’s Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology
Kyle Salk, a sophomore Physics major, was offered and has accepted a position as a summer researcher at the University of Maine’s Laboratory for Surface Science and Technology. The goal of this summer research program is to get students “involved in fundamental and applied sensor research” using state-of-the-art research equipment and facilities at the University of Maine. ece.umaine.edu/research/805-2
