Art for the Sciences today at 3 p.m.

Join the Department of Physics and Astronomy for its weekly seminar today (Fri, Sep 19) at 3PM in the Planetarium, BR 167. The talk this week is by Bruce Flaig, a professional nature photographer who is an alumnus of MSUM. The summary of his talk is:

Sometimes scientists can get lost in their world of numbers and instruments, losing sight of the other side of life: the Arts. This seminar will be a chance to get reacquainted with that world of Art. We will explore what makes art important, how to interpret art, how to appreciate art, and, perhaps, how to create art in our lives.
