A parking open forum will be Tuesday, April 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in CMU 207. The following are recommendations for changes to the 2010-2011 Parking Rules/Regulations: raise Permits 10% for lot maintenance and reconstruction; change “B” lot to general housing; Change “I” and “K” lots to free visitor parking; raise ticket prices to be comparable to other MNSCU schools. Parking lots J and K will be closed for parking on Monday, September 21. If you have a permit and normally park in either of those lots, your permit will be honored in lots N and P that day. K lot will also be closed on September 23 and 24. We will honor K lot permits in lots J and N on September 23 and 24. If you have any questions please call 477-5036.
This is a reminder that 2009-2010 MSUM parking permits are being sold in the CMU, room 216, through 8/28/2009. Our hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm while at the CMU. Beginning at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 26, permits may also be purchased at the Security Building, 1616 9th Avenue South. Parking is being monitored in all Faculty/Staff lots at this time and we will begin monitoring all the other lots on Monday, August 31.
Log-on now and get your parking permit hand delivered to your office. In an effort to streamline the permit process for faculty and staff click on https://appserv.mnstate.edu/authenticate/index.asp?applicationid=27 by August 14 to have your permit delivered to your office or you can stop by the parking office located in the Campus Security building and pick it up on your way to work. If you miss the August 14 deadline you are strongly encouraged to still register, but you will have to stop at the CMU 216 between August 17-28 and pick up your permit.
