Curtis Gudmundson to receive MSUM’s L.B. Hartz Award

Curtis Gudmundson, founder of Milestone Hotel Investments, will receive MSUM’s L.B. Hartz Professional Achievement Award. Gudmundson started his entrepreneurial pursuits during college, first as a rock band promoter and later as the owner of Mama Mia’s Pizza in Fargo. The two L.B. Women’s Studies Scholarships

The Mildred E. Treumann-Sylvia Morgan Scholarship in Women’s Studies is for women who are seeking a major or minor in Women’s Studies. $1000 for 2010-2011. The Jean Stephenson Scholarship supports an upperclass Women’s Studies student who demonstrates excellence in scholarship, character and future potential. $750 for 2010-2011. Student Leadership Scholarship deadline April 2

Student leaders at a MnSCU University are encouraged to apply for the Jared P. Stene Student Leaders Scholarship, named in memory of a student leader at Winona State University who passed away in November 2007. The $500 scholarship is open to any major at any grade level and requires a minimum 2.5 GPA. Application deadline is April 2. Click headline for application information.
