The release party for the 2009 issue of Red Weather, MSUM’s annual literary magazine, starts at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 30 at the Spirit Room in downtown Fargo.
FREE HEARING SCREENING AT CAMPUS SPEECH/HEARING CLINIC WEDNESDAY
MSUM’s Speech and Hearing Clinic is providing free hearing screenings on Wednesday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in accordance with International Noise Awareness Day. The clinic is located in Grier Hall. Screenings will be completed on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information call 2286.
Student Art Exhibit Runs Through May 13
An MSUM student art exhibit will be on display April 27-May 13 in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. The exhibit is in partial fulfillment of students’ bachelor of fine arts degrees.
Jazz Guitar Ensemble Performs April 30
MSUM’s Jazz Guitar Ensemble will present a free public concert Thursday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall. Directed by Nicholas Fryer, the ensemble will perform selections by Wayne Shorter, Wes Montgomery and Chris McQueen, among others.
