No afternoon events… BUDGET CUTS INTO CAMPUS 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION Due to budget constraints, President Edna decided it would be fiscally responsible and prudent to reduce the expenses and employee hours of set up and event staffing related to the annual 4th of July celebration held on the campus this summer. Therefore no midday events will be held.
An MSUM Deans’ Lecture Series event on “In Living Color: How Reading American Literatures Together Enriches the Literary Feast” by Hazel Retzlaff from the English department starts at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 30 in the Center for Business 111.
Film Studies will be holding its Senior Seminar Final Screenings/Presentations on April 30 and May 1 at 6:30 p.m. in Weld Auditorium. Both evenings will consist of final film projects (a mix of documentary, short dramatic narrative and experimental films) and research presentations. These events are FREE and open to the public.
