International Programs, in conjunction with the Moorhead Post Office, is once again sponsoring a passport drive on campus, Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. in Flora Frick lounge. The MSUM Steel Drum and Salsa Ensemble, “Fuego Tropical,” will present its fall dance/concert this Saturday evening, Nov. 7 in the CMU Ballroom. A salsa dance lesson with Victor of “Vic’s Dance Studio” begins the evening at 7 p.m., followed by live music at 8 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for students with ID and seniors.
Travis Thompson, a well-known autism clinician, researcher and author of several books, including “Straight Talk About Autism” (2008) and “Freedom from Meltdowns: Solutions for Children with Autism” (2008), will present a free, public lecture on “Autism: Early Intervention and Brain Development” Wednesday, Nov 4 at 7 p.m. in the Minnesota State University Moorhead Science Lab 104.
