Renewing your passport?

Passport Drive FYI: You do not need to apply in person if you’re renewing a passport so long as you can submit your expired passport (provided it was issued less than 15 years ago and you were over the age of 16). You can still get your passport pictures taken in FR153 and pick up the application form, but you apply through the mail. Check out the instructions on www.travel.state.gov

For the Bible Tells Me So

A special screening of the award-winning film “For the Bible Tells Me So” will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 in Bridges 162. Participate in an in-depth critical discussion of traditional Biblical teachings concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and its impact on LGBTQ people of faith. Red River Women’s Studies Conference Nov. 6

The Women’s Studies program hosts the 9th Annual Red River Women’s Studies Conference on Friday, November 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the CMU. The conference focuses on topics related to women, gender and feminism, presented by faculty, students and community members. The keynote speaker is Dr. Cynthia Norton on “Intersections of Science and Gender: Possibilities for Collaboration and Transformation.” The conference is free for students and includes lunch with registration. Passport drive scheduled

International Programs, in conjunction with the Moorhead Post Office, is once again sponsoring a passport drive on campus, Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. 1 p.m. in Flora Frick lounge. Photos may be taken in the OIP on the day for a special price of $5. For further information, contact OIP at 2956 or stop by FR153. Forms are available at travel.state.gov. This activity is part of MSUM’s annual International Education Week celebration.
