Woodlands and High Plains Powwow at MSUM April 10

The 21st annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow will be held at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse on the MSUM campus Saturday, April10. The annual celebration features traditional American Indian music, dance, and regalia. Grand entries are scheduled at 1 and 7 p.m. and a free meal will be served at 5 p.m. Click headline for more information.

Ceramic artist to give slide lecture April 14

Winnipeg ceramic artist Chris Pancoe will lead a wood firing workshop at MSUM with ART 305 Technical Ceramics April 14-17. He will give a slide lecture at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 14 in Center for the Arts room 165. It’s free and open to the public. These events are sponsored by The Solomon Comstock Foundation.

Spagammi Spaghetti Feed

On Thursday, April 15th at 5:00 PM the women of Gamma Phi Beta are hosting a spaghetti feed to raise money for our national charity, Camp Fire USA at the Gamma Phi Beta house. We would like to invite all MSUM students, faculty, and staff, as well as any persons in the community to join us.

Jazz Trumpet Virtuoso joins MSUM Jazz Ensemble April 22

World-renowned jazz trumpet virtuoso Marvin Stamm joins the MSUM Jazz Ensemble for an evening of great music on Thursday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in Hansen Theater. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with ID. MSUM students, faculty and staff can get free tickets up until the day of the show.
