The Monday Night Big Band returns to Studio 222 Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. The band plays the first Monday of the month and all proceeds go to jazz scholarships for music majors at the three local universities. Under the direction of Associate Professor of Music Allen Carter, the group has raised over $4,000 over the last two years.

Conference theme: “Managing Diversity in Times of Change and Development” Cultural Diversity Resources Inc., a non-profit organization, is organizing a one-day diversity conference for business professionals, educators and general community Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Comstock Memorial Union. Conference co-sponor is the MSUM Office of Diversity & Inclusion.
The MFA Department will have a series of readings this year showcasing MFA students and visiting readers. It is free and open to the public.
