Geosciences student Asami Minei won first place in the student poster competition at the 29th Annual MN GIS/LIS Conference. Her poster was entitled “Classification and Calculation of Non-NIR Vegetation Indices Using High Resolution UAS Imagery.” The conference was held in St. Cloud, Minn. Her advisor is Dr. David Kramar.
