New York artist and author of “The Badlands Saloon” Jonathan Twingley will be a visiting artist-in-residence at Minnesota State University Moorhead Oct. 28 and 29. As part of his campus visit, he will deliver a free public lecture on “Words and Pictures” at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28 in the Center for Business room 109. Professor Emeritus Otto Ursin, age 90, died Wed., Oct. 21, 2009, in Villa Maria Nursing Home, Fargo, ND. Otto spent his teaching career (Technology) at MSUM until his retirement in 1982. A Memorial Service was held on Oct. 27. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley or Trinity Lutheran Church-Building for Mission Fund.
