Volk & Scheuer hold printmaking demonstrations

John Volk, Art & Design, and student Jennifer Scheuer, from the Printmaking program in the Department of Art & Design, will be holding demonstrations for approximately 1,800 area elementary school students during the next three weeks. The demonstrations will be held in the Hannaher Print Studio at the Plains Art Museum, where Volk is the featured artist and Scheuer is the student intern. WALKtober Challenge

The WALKtober Challenge has come to an end with great participation!! 451 people signed up for the event! The three lucky winners who walked 10,000+ steps, more than four times during week 4 are Sara Bossany, Brianna Ford and LaRae McGillivra. The GRAND prize drawing massage winners for walking 10,000+ steps 4x a week for 4 weeks are Deb Radke, Madison Brantner and Abby Klang. Congratulations to all of you! Thanks to everyone who stuck it out till the end in the WALKtober Challenge!

Admissions hosts Preview Day on Monday

We are pleased to be hosting prospective students and their families at our Preview Day on Monday, November 9. The morning program begins at 8:30 with a welcome/admission presentation, followed by a campus tour, academic showcase and concludes with a light lunch and reception. The afternoon program is designed for prospective students wanting just a quick look. The session begins at 1:00 p.m. with a welcome/admissions presentation and then a campus tour. The Preview Day event is in the CMU ballroom. We appreciate all you do to make our guests feel welcome. Please contact Admissions if you have any questions.
