Bachmeier exhibits at Rourke Art Museum

Brad Bachmeier, Art & Design, will have his ninth solo ceramic sculpture and pottery exhibit at the Rourke Art Museum opening this weekend. The show is titled “Ceramic Evolution” and it reflects the growth of Brad’s work as he investigates the power of the element of scale. The exhibition will be open to the public starting with a gallery talk at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 8. The show runs through March 28, 2010. A preview of this exhibition will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.

Women’s Studies Conference Friday

The Women’s Studies program hosts the 9th Annual Red River Women’s Studies Conference on Friday, November 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the CMU. Lavender reception Dec. 2

Last semester MSUM, NDSU, MSCTC, and Concordia co-sponsored a Lavender Reception for graduating gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, transexual, queer, and questioning students.
