The Human Resources Office has employee-discounted tickets for the 2009 Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Adult tickets are $15.50 (Reg. $19.95) and children tickets (age 5-12) are $7.50 (Reg. $10.95). Children age 4 & under are free.

A public reception for The New York Art Experience will be held Thursday, Aug. 27 from 4-6 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts gallery. The New York Art Experience features the work of students and faculty artist John Volk. If you haven’t already visited, come take a look as Thursday is the last day for the exhibit.
Terrie Manno, professor of music/piano, will present a solo piano recital on Sunday, August 30, at 4 p.m. in the Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall. Sharon Scapple’s pastel painting, “On the Alert,” was accepted in the Fine Arts category competition at the 2009 Minnesota State Fair.
