MSUM Economics Department alum, Stacy Broman, has been selected by Best Lawyers as the Minneapolis Insurance Law Lawyer of the Year for 2013. Oscar Flores, Economics, served as president of the Missouri Valley Economics Association. As president, he organized the 49th Annual Meeting of the MVEA held October 25-27 in Memphis, Tenn. There were over 180 papers presented and an attendance of over 200 professional economists from most states in the nation.
