Oscar Flores, Economics, presented the paper “The Impact of Participation in Learning Communities on Academic Performance an Retention” at the 43rd meetings of the Eastern Economic Association in New York City. Flores found preliminary evidence that participation in LCs at MSU Moorhead does increase the probability that students would return for the second year.
Three Economics students presented at the undergraduate student sessions of the Eastern Economic Association meetings in New York City.
