Psychology student Hailen Ackerman and Psychology professor Jared Ladbury presented research at the Midwest Sports Analytics Meeting (MSAM) virtual conference on November 21. Their presentation was titled “Throw Deep to the Slot: Integrating Quarterback and Receiver Influence on Catch Rates.”

Steve Lindaas, Physics and Astronomy, was the physics strand speaker for the Minnesota Conference on Science Education virtual conference November 12-17. Erick Quintana, Noyce Scholar, Learning Assistant and Physics Education major, assisted with the presentation titled “Visualizing Physics.” The session facilitated good interaction and audience participation.
