Theodore Roosevelt National Park held its annual Dakota Nights Astronomy Festival over Labor Day weekend. Dr. Matt Craig, Department of Physics and Astronomy, presented one of the evening keynote talks — about the impact of satellite constellation on astronomy — and an afternoon talk about similarities between the surface of Mars and the badlands.
There will be a public astronomy night on Fri, Sep 10 at 8PM at the MSUM Regional Science Center.
