The 10th annual World of Change conference for regional teachers of the social and natural sciences and mathematics will be held on campus Monday, Oct. 26. It is sponsored by the College of Social and Natural Sciences. Regional teachers from North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota will attend workshops hosted by faculty and staff members from Biosciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Psychology, and Physics and Astronomy. The American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter at MSU Moorhead has been selected to receive an Honorable Mention Award for its activities conducted during the 2008-2009 academic year. The advisers of last year’s chapter were Dr. Asoka Marasinghe and Dr. Joseph Provost.
An additional section of Chemistry 304, online, is open for Fall, 2009. This class is Writing Intensive and Dragon Core Area 10.
