The American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter at MSU Moorhead has been selected to receive an Honorable Mention Award for its activities conducted during the 2008-2009 academic year. The advisers of last year’s chapter were Dr. Asoka Marasinghe and Dr. Joseph Provost.
An additional section of Chemistry 304, online, is open for Fall, 2009. This class is Writing Intensive and Dragon Core Area 10.
An additional section of Econ 204 Principles of Macroeconomics (002792) has been opened. The course will be taught T Th from 1:30-2:45 pm.

A four-year MSUM volleyball letter-winner senior Kelci Guenther of Williston, N.D., has been awarded a prestigious National Collegiate Athletic Association Postgraduate Scholarship in recognition of her outstanding achievements as a scholar and athlete.
