Dragons Dance Team To Compete at Nationals

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons dance team will travel to Orlando, Fla., this weekend to compete in the UDA College Dance Team National Championships.

The team qualified for the National Championships in October as they were selected as one of the top-30 teams across the nation at the DII, DIII or NAIA level. The team also competed recently at a regional competition held at the Mall of America on Jan. 10.

Dragons Assist in 2010 Fitness Resolutions

MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead Dragons have banded together to provide the campus and regional community the opportunity to improve everyday wellness and fitness with the Fit-N-Fire Dragon Training Group.

Based on the concept of creating a training atmosphere to provide motivation and education for leading a fit life, Dragons Athletics, the MSUM Wellness Center, and Dragons for Wellness have combined efforts to make a difference in our community.

Growing on the Grovers: Former MSUM star Bledsoe makes impact as first-year head coach

Jared Bledsoe is in his first season as the head girls basketball coach at Fargo Oak Grove, but it’s clear he’s already had an impact. The Grovers are passionate, composed and bring a positive attitude to every game. Just like Bledsoe did when he was a star guard at Minnesota State University Moorhead from 2001 to 2003. Bledsoe, who grew up in Memphis, said he never had aspirations of one day becoming a coach. He was much more focused on getting to the NBA.
