Dr. Valerie Ritland, Dr. Mary Dosch, and Dr. Camille Brandt, all School of Teaching and Learning, presented at the Multiage Institute: Joyful Teaching–Joyful Learning on August 8 and 9 at MSUM. With strong research supporting multiage classrooms in the highest achieving nations around the world, the institute focused on creating and effectively implementing multiage classrooms in public and private schools.
Vernon Dobis, Economics, and T. J. Hansen, Economics, participated in the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA) Annual Meeting in Seattle, Wash., August 12-14, 2012. AAEA members specialize in applied economics research focused on agriculture and the environment, growth and development, and rural and regional economies. Hansen served as one of the judges for the AAEA’s Graduate Student Extension Competition.
