Comstock Memorial Union opened its doors to the public April 24, 1967 making this April 24 the 50th anniversary of the CMU. The 50th year celebration of the CMU will be held Friday, April 28 with a range of fun activities throughout the evening such as bingo, trivia, a photo booth and more!

Four 2015 New Rivers Press books have been selected as finalists for the Midwest Independent Publishers Awards. In Contemporary Literature: “Horsefever” by Lee Hope and “We Got Him” by Elizabeth Searle. In Short Story Collection/Anthology: “It Turns Out Like This” by Stephen Coyne and “American Fiction Volume 15” edited by Bruce Pratt. Winners will be announced May 12.
