Moorhead’s upcoming music events

A variety of music concerts are coming at Minnesota State Moorhead. Tickets for all events are $10 for adults and $8 for students, unless otherwise noted. Tickets may be purchased at mnstate.edu/tickets.

Small Ensembles Concert

Sunday, April 19 | 4 p.m. | Roland Dille Center for the Arts Gaede Stage

Several ensembles will perform, including SolFire, a mixed voice a cappella group; Dragon Brass; Saxophone Quartet; and Dragon Scales. Tickets may be purchased at mnstate.edu/tickets.

Nora Klocke Solo Flute Performance

Sunday, April 19 | 2 p.m. | Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall

Nora Klocke will present a solo flute performance featuring works by Poulenc, Faurè, Gounod, and Instrall. She will be accompanied by Lori Cline on piano and Annika Lukken on marimba. Nora is a music performance major from Moorhead and is the student of Leah Schelcht and Steven Klocke. This event is free and open to the public.

Wind and Percussion Ensembles Concert

Thursday, April 23 | 7:30 p.m. | Roland Dille Center for the Arts Hansen Theater

The Wind and Percussion Ensembles give their final performances of the academic year. The Wind Ensemble is an auditioned concert band comprised of 45-50 students pursing a diverse array of majors, and the Percussion Ensemble often performs with internationally recognized guest artists and frequently tours throughout the Midwest while performing at music festivals. Kayla Huebner Senior Voice Recital

Saturday, April 25 | 3 p.m. | Roland Dille Center for the Arts Fox Recital Hall

Kayla Huebner will present a senor voice recital as part of her capstone performance. This event free and open to the public.
