Promote retention by highlighting career readiness in your syllabus (Workshop for faculty)

“Career success” and “intellectual development” are the top two reasons students pursue their degree (NACM, 2023). Students get both through their classes, but they rarely recognize the career skills developed. Through your syllabus, you can clearly communicate the connections between your course and the workplace. This session will give you tangible examples of how to highlight career readiness skills learned in your syllabus without changing your curriculum. Bring a syllabus along to work on!

Tues. March 18: 12pm-1pm
