MSUM Choir Concert “Common Grounds” on Oct. 17

Thursday, Oct. 17 | 7:30 p.m. | Center for the Arts Gaede Stage

The Minnesota State University Moorhead Choirs and student-led vocal groups will present a concert titled “Common Ground” on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts Gaede Stage.

This concert will feature choral music that centers on climate action, our role in it, and the beauty of our true common ground: Earth. Choirs are conducted by Michael Johnson, MSUM director of choral activities and vocal music education. The choirs will be joined by collaborative pianist Jean Hellner.

The Concert Choir is an auditioned, mixed choir that performs a wide variety of advanced choral repertoire from the Middle Ages through the 21st century. The University Choir is a large, non-auditioned, mixed choir that performs a wide variety of repertoire and includes singers of all ability levels.
