May 5th is National Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons (MMIP) Awareness Day to recognize American Indian and Alaska Native people who have lost their lives to violence.
To raise awareness about and encourage discussion of MMIP, MSUM will host a panel discussion bringing together women who are working to eliminate human trafficking and violence against all persons.

- 4:30-6 p.m. | MMIP Panel Discussion | Gaede Stage
Panelists: Ruth Buffalo, Anne LaFrinier-Ritchie, Amanda Straus, Tracey L. Wilkie and Lissa Yellowbird-Chase. Panel moderator is Dr. Caitlin Johnson.
