Title IX Process Advisor Training Offered
Monday, October 12 | 2-3:30 p.m. | Hosted on Zoom
All faculty and staff are invited to attend Title IX Process Advisor training on Monday, October 12 at 2-3:30 p.m. via Zoom.
New Title IX regulations took effect for Fall 2020 and there is a greater need than ever for individuals who are willing to assist students involved in a Title IX investigation related to sexual violence. Process advisors are trained to:
• Help students understand their rights and responsibilities under the 1B.3 Sexual Violence policy, procedures, and student code of conduct;
• Assist students in organizing information to be used during an investigation & reviewing materials shared through the investigation process;
• Help students understand the support services available to them; and,
• Be present with the student when participating in the investigation/resolution process, if needed.
Attending this training does not require you to be a Process Advisor but is a great way to gain a better understanding of Title IX and MSUM’s 1B.3 sexual violence policy and the 1B.3.1 procedures for that policy.
To register for the training, please email lauren.kupfer@mnstate.edu.
