Music Theatre Fargo-Moorhead announces benefit for Roger Maris Cancer Center

No One Is Alone: A Reunion Concert Benefitting the Roger Maris Cancer Center One-Night Only

Music Theatre Fargo-Moorhead (MTFM) will produce a benefit concert, performing memories from the past ten years to celebrate the future. All proceeds and donations, after costs, will benefit the Roger Maris Cancer Center.

MTFM has produced ten years of musical theatre in the community, creating a very large family of artists. With no physical home, they have bounced around to different venues, but spent most of their time at The Stage at Island Park. Increasing rental and show licensing costs have caused them to take a hiatus for two years. In this time, a restructuring and rebranding of their business model has taken place, with an attitude of adapting to the changing needs of the community.

This event is a kick-off to the new mission with an exciting reveal and look back on the beautiful art that has been created in the past. But more importantly, it is to lend support to several company members who have been battling cancer this year and pay tribute to several who have passed away. The program will feature musical numbers from comedy and romance to dramatic, including several personal stories from MTFM artists who have battled cancer. Tickets are $10 for all seats, but donations are eagerly encouraged and will be received at door and throughout performance. It will be an entertaining and purposeful evening, so please come out to support the Roger Maris Cancer Center.
